Located on the campus of Troy Athens High School in Troy, Michigan,
this facility boasts one of the largest seating capacities in the state.
The Athens Auditorium is available for rentals during the academic year (September through June).
This auditorium can accommodate your concerts, recitals, dance performances, theatrical performances, special ceremonies, lectures, and discussions.

Accessibility: Designated handicap seating areas on the main floor and balcony. Access to balcony via elevator on opposite side of the building. Stage has steps at either side and ramps on the far edges. Stage doors, scene shop, stage ramps all fully accesible at main level.

Stage Dimensions: 40' depth (Apron to Back Wall) x 88' width (including wing)
Curtains & Drapes: Manual operation. Note that this house has no fly space or counterweight system. Features a center-stage main black traveler curtain (opens/closes only, does not raise/lower) and an upstage black traveler curtain doubling as backstage masking. Cyclorama is available.
Loading: Backstage access via interior hallway with direct access from the scene shop. Power assist loading door.

BACKSTAGE & AMENITIES
Dressing Rooms: Under-stage facilities with backstage and house entry/exits. Separate men's and women's areas are equipped with toilet, sink, and makeup stations with lighting/mirrors. Central area serves as "green room" with additional makeup mirrors/lighting and video feed of stage.
Band and choir rooms can double as dressing or meeting areas.
Note: Steamers, washer/dryers, and quick change booths are not available.

House manager(s) and student staff.
Stage Hands: Non-Union professional staff labor & non-union student labor pool.
Event Staffing: The cost of House Staff is additional and varies according to the type and length of the event. The number of personnel is solely at the discretion of the Theatre Manager or Technical Director.
